Hey I’m Jeanie Gee, a 41 year old woman with ADHD and Autism, diagnosed lrelatively ate in life aged 40. I have lived exerience of knowing how difficult it can be living a neurotypical world as a neurodivergent, which can often feel overwhelming, daunting and hostile.
I am big supporter and advocate of the Neurodiversity Movement. I strongly believe ADHD is a valuable neurotype that contributes so positively to society. I feel most of our suffering is because of the expectations placed on us by the neurotypical society that we live in.
I previously taught in a special educational setting where I developed a 12 week programme helping students with their difficulties associated with emotional regulation, relationships with others, confidence and self acceptance
I currently run several social groups for adults with neurodivergence and ADHD and we meet up on a regular basis. I also participate in weekly podcasts with neurodivergent lifecoach: Michelle Markman, where we discuss all things neurodivergent.
